Which group-set is better, Di2 or eTap? What are clipless pedals? Do I need a full carbon bike for participate in triathlon? Is it okay to buy a used bike? How do I keep my bike in good working order? How do I change a tire? If you have similar questions, then exciting news! We are partnering with the Bike Lab on a series called Bikes 411.

Series 2 - Traveling with your bike
Everyone loves a destination race. But this comes with some logistical challenges. How do you prepare your bike to fly? What tools do you need? Do you need insurance? How do you put it back together after you have traveled with it? Come with your questions. The pros at the BikeLab can help!

Series 3 - Get to know your bike
Cyclists speak another language; derailleurs, cassettes, stems, group sets. It's enough to make your head spin. In this session, we'll go over the basic terms and parts found on all bikes, what they do, and why you need to know. We will also discuss the different brands and levels of components (Shimano, Sram, etc.) Come with your questions.

Series 4 - Cruiser vs Roadie vs TT
Is there really a difference between a road bike and a triathlon bike? What about a triathlon and a time trial bike? In this series, we'll dive into the differences, large and small between these types of bikes, why it matters, and answer that important question: do I need to spend $10,000 on a bike to be a real triathlete or cyclist. The answer may surprise you.

Series 5 - Group ride basics and practice ride
Have you been invited to a group ride or wanted to attend one, but weren't sure you knew how or what the rules were? This series is for you! We'll talk about the basics of riding safely in a group, how and when to draft, explain commonly used terms (drop, no-drop, hot zone, etc), and lastly we'll put this knowledge into practice with a short group ride. Bring your ride and helmet. Don't have a bike? SHOW UP ANYWAY! We have some extras laying around.
