Aquathlon
Swim in Edmond's premiere body of water, Lake Arcadia. One lap of the course.
The run course is a fun out and back through the wooded Lake Arcadia area. Map coming soon. 
SWIM COURSE
Swim in Edmond's premiere body of water, Lake Arcadia. Sprint distance athletes will complete one lap and Olympic triathlon and aquabike athletes will complete two laps.

Take on a challenging bike course through the hills of Edmond. Sprint distant athletes will turn around just after mile six. This course is the full 40k,  olympic distance. Athletes racing the aquabike, duathlon, olympic triathlon will complete the entire course. Athletes competing in the sprint triathlon will turn around at the 10k point. It will be clearly marked.

No Passing Zone:

​Leaving transition, there is a section where the run and bike course overlap. While riding in this part of the course, passing is not allowed for everyone's safety. Volunteers will be placed at both ends of the no passing area.

Athletes continue straight on N Midwest Blvd to the finish line. Do not turn left.

PARKING 
Parking is available in the field north of the UCO Boathouse.


ENTRY TO LAKE ARCADIA:
The cost to enter the park is included in athlete's registration on race day. Spectators need to pay the entrance fee of $10. The Park's Department accepts credit cards. To ensure athlete and volunteer safety, no entry to the park will be allowed after transition opens at 6:00 am. Midwest Boulevard will re-open once the majority of athletes have completed the bike course.

​DIRECTIONS TO EVENT:
Edmond Park entrance to Lake Arcadia race site is two miles east of I-35 on East 2nd Street. Edmond Park Entrance is at Midwest Blvd and E. 2nd Street.

USAT SANCTIONED EVENT
This is a USAT Sanctioned Event. It will follow all USAT rules and guidelines. If you do not have a valid USAT #, then you MUST purchase a one-day USAT Membership during registration. You can purchase an annual USAT membership directly from USAT.  The Most Common USAT Rule Violations
 
THINGS TO BRING
Sunscreen
For the bike: Helmet, bike, sunglasses, water bottles
For the run: Running shoes, hat, sunglasses 
For the swim: Goggles, swim cap will be provided and is required. This race is frequently wetsuit legal.


ACCOMADATIONS:
There are Holiday Inn Express, LaQuinta Inn, Hampton Inn, Fairfield Inn, and Home2 Suites by Hilton all within 5 miles of the race venue. There is a Hilton Garden Inn less than ten miles away.
