No refunds will be given for requests made within 30 days of the event. If the event is canceled due to COVID-related concerns a partial refund, minus the registration fee and USAT one-day fee (as applicable), will be offered. If the event is canceled due to acts of God including weather, refunds will NOT be given.

Transfers
An athlete may transfer their registration up to 14 days prior to the event, by submitting the request to triathlonclubofokc@gmail.com. No transfer requests will be granted for requests made less than 14 days before the event.

Deferrals
An athlete may defer their registration to another Tri-OKC event of equal cost within 365 days of the original event. The deferral request must be submitted to triathlonclubofokc@gmail.com prior to the event. If an athlete wishes to register for an event more expensive than the deferred event, Tri-OKC will issue a credit in the amount of the original fee (minus the registration fee and USAT one-day fee (as applicable)) to be used for the future event.

Group Training Guidelines - COVID-19

Since the safety and health of our participants is a foremost concern, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, the following sets forth our expectations of participants during group training. These are subject to change based on the latest CDC and state and local health guidance.

Do not participate in group training…
  • If you do not feel well or have had COVID-19 symptoms within the last 14 days.
  • If you have tested positive for COVID-19 until your physician has released you.
  • If you have been exposed to someone positive for COVID-19 and are in the 14-day quarantine period.
  • If you have tested for COVID-19 but have not yet received results.
  • If, for any reason, you feel at risk for COVID-19.

Safety Precautions
  • Wash your hands or use hand sanitizer before and after your run and avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
  • While you run or ride, avoid large packs.
  • Avoid physical contact (no high-fives, handshakes, hugs).
  • Do not spit or blow “nose rockets” in public. If you absolutely must, do so away from the trail and people.
  • Cough and sneeze into a hanky or your shirt.
  • Bring your own hydration container.
  • If not vaccinated consider wearing a mask.

*If you test positive for COVID-19 and have attended group event within 14 days, please notify a TRI-OKC board member, or the event host. We will maintain your confidentiality but need to be aware if others in the group may have been exposed.

The Triathlon Club of Oklahoma City cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed to COVID-19 during a group training event and will not be responsible for any potential exposure. By attending TRI-OKC group training events, you acknowledge and agree that you assume the inherent risks associated with attendance.
